Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, did five things for my childhood.
1)Being one of the only girls someone knew who was the HUGEST sports fanatic for Blues hockey & Cardinals baseball.
2) Allowed me to be the first kid to do Cardinals Great Clips PA for a Day. (thanks mom )
3) Saw Game 6 of the 2011 World Series in person.
4)Experience the Blues amazing 2019 Stanley Cup playoff run, which led to the first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
&
5)For as long as I can remember… the dream of being on TV!

Originally, I wanted to become an actress because of the ability to tell such amazing stories while being on camera. So, growing up I danced for 13 years & did theatre in high school. Despite, wanting to go to California immediately after I graduated high school, I decided to attend my mom’s alma mater, Oklahoma State University.
After finding Oklahoma State’s student TV station, O’Colly TV , I found something that I wanted to do more acting —— broadcast journalism, which would give me the same ability to tell heartfelt stories. I switched from Strategic Communications to Multimedia Journalism with a production emphasis & started working on the M-F newscast, “The Daily O”. I fell in love with everything regarding broadcast journalism, both behind the camera and in front of the camera.
After graduating in May 2024, & reflecting on my extremely difficult academic school year, made me realized how I should’ve combined my love for sports and my childhood dream into my future career. My goal now is to either work as a sportscaster/ sideline reporter for a sports network OR a sports anchor/reporter for a news station in St. Louis. I’m a determined woman who will do anything to achieve my childhood dream.
